We wish to encourage the enjoyment of a variety of sports as a method to preserve health and prevent lifestyle-related diseases. However, due to the proliferation of junk food such as snacks and soft drinks, it is now very difficult to maintain a healthily lifestyle, and although the nutritional balance for Olympic victory is frequently discussed these days, the important foundational food and lifestyle habits for elementary and middle school students are often overlooked.
